Riding by the Bank Hotel, King Street, Newtown
$500.00Price
A common scene on bustling King Street, Newtown. A food delivery driver rides past The Bank Hotel, Thai Organic Massage and Tree of Life. Long a Newtown community hub, in 1912, these buildings operated as Croad's Bank Hotel and Goldsmiths and there was a popular Oyster Bar out front. The Bank was originally built in the Victorian architectural style, then altered to the Federation style, then to the current Art Deco style in 1934.
